Manufacturing Capabilities for Aluminum Sand Castings
Laurel Aluminum Casting has been producing high quality aluminum sand castings since our founding in 1987. Below are just a few examples of our manufacturing capabilities:
We exclusively pour A356 primary aluminum ingot—but we can also do other grades based on specific requests and volumes
Our own on-site, aluminum foundry allows us to make castings from the prototype development stage to production stage
In-house core making capabilities, heat treating, and pattern making
We use Cope & Drag Jolt Squeeze molding equipment for our green sand molding process
Can produce aluminum sand castings ranging in size from a few ounces to 200+ pounds
Our customized core-making equipment enables us to make anything from intricate lacy cores up to large chunky cores
We also have air set molding operations and use a dry sand process for making larger castings
